I’m Sara, an artist based in Rogers, OH. I have a normal day job as a residential painter, but have big dreams of one day making this my full time gig! I love to explore a variety of mediums as well as subject matter. Most of my works are paintings (oil or acrylic) with the occasional collage/ mixed media piece. Some of my favorite subjects include cars and people, but there are many days where I’ve found myself painting landscapes, or pet portraits.
Outside of all things work and art, I have an incredible big family and a pretty bad ass boyfriend that I am beyond thankful for. Of Course, like most people I am striving for more. Appreciating what I do have, but always seeking ways to become the next best version of me. Hoping one day when I leave this world that I have left it just a little more beautiful than I found it.
What is the rest of my life like? Honestly, a lot of it is the life I have built with Luke (my other half). He certainly keeps life interesting with his eternally young spirit and energy. We love to travel whenever we can (although it is not as much as we might like), rock/music festivals are also top of the list for adventures. He introduced me to snowboarding which we try to enjoy every winter, and his “car guy” nature has definitely had its influence. We love to go dancing. In 2020 we became certified open water scuba divers. We like to keep busy, but usually end our days with cuddling up to a movie.
